Antique Town Plan of Bristol from Bacon's New Large Scale Ordnance Atlas of the British Isles, dated 1885. This map is covers the areas around the town, out to Clifton and the Zoological Gardens in the West, Ashley Down in the North, Redfield in the East and Ashton Gate in the South, with a lot of detail. Streets are named and located through a street index providing grid locations in the left and right margins. An index at the bottom right provides a reference key for churches, post pillars, tramways. Condition: Good, printed colour, folding copy. |
