Biography:

Louis Brion de la Tour (fl. 1756 - 1803)

French engraver to the King. An engineer who held the post of Ingenieur Geographie du Roi. Published a wide range of staistical works and atlases including:

Cartes des Places Fortes et des Principaux Ports des Isles Britanniques - 1756.
Cotes Maritimes de France - 1757.
Atlas Itineraire Portatif - 1766.
Atlas General - 1766, 1776 and 1786.
Description generale de l'Europe - 1795.
Atlas geographie et statistique de la France - 1803.
