An extremely rare 19th century map of Hadrian's Wall on Silk dated 1884. Depicts the visible remains of the wall, major towns, Roman roads and railways. 'Map of the Roman Wall in the North of England. Reduced by permission from the Survey executed in 1853 for His Grace the Duke of Northumberland K.G. with additions from various sources. 1884.' Condition: Printed in colour on silk, age staining and foxing, old repair to fold on right of title. Very Scarce .
