Robert Rowe (1775-1843)

An engraver and publisher of a great number of maps including two sets of cards and one atlas, The English Atlas, which was published in 1816 with some maps dated as early as 1813.

Although Rowe produced the original atlas, it was not long before it was taken over by the company of Henry Teesdale, publishers at 302 High Holborn and 2 Brunswick Row, Queen Square (1842).
