Joseph Ellis 18th (fl. 1750-d.1796)

From Clerkenwell in London, a prolific English engraver in the mid - late 18th century. In 1776 he engraved the maps of the Hibernian Atlas together with William Palmer, with whom he also produced a set of English county maps for the New English Atlas.

Ellis's English Atlas in Fifty (four) maps -
various editions 1765 - 1785.
Hibernian Atlas - 1776.
