Biography:
His work varied from miniatures to very decorative large maps as well as atlases. His work enjoyed a high reputation, much of it copied from other publishers.
Published the following atlases:
A General Atlas 1700 re-issued 1730.
A System of Geography 1701.
Fifty six New and Accurate Maps of Great Britain (after Robert Morden).
Atlas Manuale - A New Set of Maps of all the parts of the Earth 1709.
The South part of Great Britain called England and Wales 1710.
Atlas Geographicus 1711-17.
The North part of Great Britain called Scotland (after Thomas Bowles).
A new map of Great Britain 1715.
A New and Exact Map of the Dominions of the King of Great Britain on ye Continent of North America 1726 - 40.
A New and Complete Atlas 1719 - 36 (also titled The World Described).
New Description of England and Wales 1724. (Also Known as - A set of fifty New and Correct Maps of England and Wales 1728).
New Description of England and Wales 1739, 1747, and 1753.
