Description: This plan was dedicated to Stukeley's fellow antiquary in Exeter, William Musgrave. The map was published by the antiquary William Stukeley and engraved by Parker. It shows the advancement of building into St David's, St Sidwell's, Exe Island and the Friars. The tree-lined avenues are laid out on the sites of the old city ditches in Southernhay and Northernhay. Features two coats of arms and key to bottom left, a scale of 2" to 1000' to top.
Condition: Good imprint and paper, tape mark to left and right edges of margins, image unaffected. Minor age discolouration.
